If I was going to an elite acadamy, I would definitely pick the one that trained me in martial arts, breaking CIA codes, and fourteen languages. Of course, when I was fifteen I would NOT have chosen one without boys. The Gallagher acadamy is just that. A top-secret school that turns it's students into hyped up, legal "Charlie's Angels". Unfortunately, with all that these girls are trained to do, there aren't any classes on boys or first love. Which is exactly what Cami needs to know.

With all the media hype about this book (not to mention that really cute cover), I was expecting more than I got. Without spoiling the book, let me just say, that the entire plot is based on the fact that Cami has to lie to everyone she knows, so that she can have a relationship, based on lies, with a boy from the town they are in. I was having a hard time keeping up with all the lies, and I was disappointed that the author never mentioned why lying is a problem. Also, one of the 15-year old characters "lights-up" in the hallway. Although the smoking is not mentioned a lot, it still bugged me because, it was portrayed as being totally normal.

There were a few funny moments, but overall, the author tried a little too hard and I got tired of reading about all the deadly things that these girls can do with uncooked spaghetti and mascara.

Happy Reading
